Imagine a 3 years of age girl trying to rock climbing sport. That’s Emma Fukar,one of my student six years back. Her parents often took Emma to such high adrenalin activities. She is now 9 years old,born on March 2,1998 in Vienna Austria.

Her extraordinary talents makes me wanting to make her world class wall climbing athlete. When I firstly met her at Pasfes (Pasar Festival) Kuningan,she didn’t have any climbing equipment such as shoes,harness and chalkbag. Then she bought it from one of the DKI junior athlete,Syarifah (known as Ipah).

On her first attempt to climb,she reached the top. Incredible! She’s so flexible in doing that climbing movement on that wall made by human. She got her parent’s support for this rock climbing sport. Her in the world of climbing,she wants to share her story with all of you …..

Hi i’m Emma …… i started enjoy any climbing activity at children playgrounds at hometown Vienna from my yearly age of 3 years. I left Vienna with my parents to Jakarta in August 2004 and started school at DIS-German International School in BSD.

My hobbies are all about sport and action : running,tennis,swimming,skiing,climbing,rafting,horse riding,bungee jumping and i have even forced my parents to allow me a tandem paraglide flight this year during skiing course  Tyrolean Alps. I like acrylic painting,to play flute,and join theater and singing in chorus on DIS.

I started climbing training with Panji at Pasfes (Pasar Festival) climbing wall in September 2007 . I spend 1-2 hours there every weekend once or twice. Climbing teaches me endurance and concentration and is fun,fun,fun!!! Sounds interesting ? What are you waiting for? Just join me every Saturday at 4pm in Pasar Festival Kuningan.
